Treason!!!

Ahem!!!!
Some one else did it!!!  And no I don't live in Norway!!
I did a google search for "World's Greatest Place ot Live" and found this statement on a website  http://manila.djh.dk/norway02/discuss

In the latest edition of the United Nations' Human Development Report, Norway was ranked the world's greatest place to live.

Or on this other place...

Current hobbies of mine include learning to play tennis and trying to keep up with our 3 active kids. I enjoy what I do because I truly believe this is the world's greatest place to live!

So...I guess they have never been to MY house!

We'll think about what we should do!  <laugh>

Okay...

So I really do want to be a regular blogger....

So I guess that means I should post regularly huh?

Oh.... Well today we are digging post holes for a fence. Or at least that's what the guys are doing.... I was Ben baby sitter until he went for a nap then I took a shower then started reading other blogs that I try to read often but you know, a lot of them I haven't read since Thanksgiving...then I started playing around with my own blog...like this new template? the other one just took too long to download (or I thought so...)

And I fixed it so anyone can post a comment... Sorry... I didn't realize it was set so only blog users could post comments.... So Drop me a line!!!
And so you have something to tell me (if you need help) what color should my blog be?)

So that was good...now I think maybe I have things that I really should be doing...

Later... though I hope it won't be TOO long...

More fun with Ben....

Ben (absently): Go bye-bye.

Me (pretending to be worried): Who?

Ben (starting to play with the joke): Benjamin go bye-bye.

Me (shocked): Oh no!!! Benjamin going! Where are you going?!?!

Ben (almost laughing): 'napolis. See Nina.

Me (continuing with the business): How long will you be gone?

Ben (either not understanding or not knowing how to answer, thinks for a while to come up with something to say): See Nina.

Me (trying again): Will you be gone two days?

Ben (happily): Yes.

Me (wondering): When are we going?

Ben (replying with his universal "when" answer): Tuesdaywednesday.

Me (wondering): How are you going to get there?

Ben: Drive. Get there.

Me (wondering): Who is driving?

Ben (with a fun smile): Benjamin drive.

Me (very worried now): Oh no!! Are you going by yourself?

Ben (after thinking for a moment): Mama go too.

Me (feeling better): So, Mama's gonna drive?

Ben (grinning): Benjamin drive.

Me (getting worried again): But can I go too? (pleading)

Ben (confidently): Ninnie go too.

Me (smiling again): Good!

Later…..

Me: Who all is going to Indianapolis?

Ben (confidently): Kippany.

Me (confused): I'm not going?!?!

Ben (reassuringly): Ninnie and Kippany.

Rough...

Sorry...I haven't posted in a while.....but I have written a few posts, but I guess they just never made it to the site.....so here's one I wrote on Tuesday.....and BTW, Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!

---------------------------

My computer died....yeah...hard...

Okay....so what am I writing on? Nina's laptop. But MY computer is still dead as a doornail....or maybe I should say "as dead as roadkill."

Enough of that....(and BTW, this was not originally intended to be a sick computer complaint blog!!)

So...today we had Christmas! yeah...pretty cool, huh? Nina got here Saturday evening and will be here till Friday morning, so we wanted to do Christmas while she is here....she had to do all her shopping though, so that left Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We didn't want to spend our entire time with Nina shopping, so we did that today so we can do other things tomorrow and Thursday.

So...some highlights from "Christmas morning" are:

1) Everyone put their moneys together to buy a router for Dudley. It is a power tool and was going to be his next big purchase. Over a $100, it took the combined purses of us all but he was so surprised and happy.....it was SO great!!

2) Nina still believes she had the best Christmas of everyone. She got fun but useful things and it was all stuff she needed. Like....a battery charger, rechargeable batteries, lotion, a slip, a frame for her painting she was taking back with her, photo paper, socks, dry-erase markers, a printer USB cord, and more!

3) Nina and Dudley both insist that they had the best Christmas of everyone, but there are others that made off with treasures....like Peter got a bike, Mama got her treasured chiming clock fixed (I think its been broken for probably about 6-8 years), Suzanna got several shirts and a skirt she's wanted for a long time, and I got a Bible for my computer.....

Well.... Better go....

More problems

So I think that I've fixed all the glitches....we'll see....and those previous posts are old and I just wasn't able to post them when I wrote them...
Hopefully things will work now and I can keep posting...Regualarly even! We can keep in touch!

An out-of-line Monday.....

OK...so we're home from Chicago...and we're struggling to get back to normal again....

Today, we got up real late and did ATI time then had lunch. Then we picked up the house....did a few chores and wasted a bunch of time then had supper! Well, we were required to practice our music before we could eat...so some of us had to do that....and we did laundry too....

Now....on Ben...while we were in Chicago he picked up a TON of new phrases...holy moly...holy macwee (holy macarol)SP?....my word....my lands...etc. Well, he was playing with his truck and I came down stairs and asked him what he was doing....he said, "Holy Macwee! Truck go ZOOM! truck go ZOOM! Truck go ZOOM!!!"  BTW he narrates EVERYTHING!! and he always says it 3 times  :)  He zoomed his truck and it turned around. He said, "Holy Macwee! Truck turn around backwards!" He zoomed it again....this time it didn't turn around....He said, "Truck go forwards now!" It was all very cute....

I'm being told to go to bed....So....LATER

Ben's a Star!

Last night was Daniel's birthday. We fixed Black Bean Tortilla Bake (a real fevorite of his) and Pumkin Pie for desert. Now, one thing is for sure, Ben is learning his phrases....I put him in his highchair and gave his food, bib and fork and was sitting down for us to pray and he says, "Thank you Ninnie fixing supper for us!" (He calls me Ninnie) I smiled at him and he turned to Mama and said, "Make Ninnie happy!" It was so fun!
